![]() My room had filthy torn sheets which looked like they had not been changed from the previous guest and I had to request for them to be changed before I could sleep in them. They couldnt have cared less, their staff are amongst the rudest I have encountered any where in the world, they just check everyone in like pack horses and their is no customer service whatsoever, no offer to help with luggage and people are dragging their luggage themselves all through the casino floor to the lifts. They put us all on different floors and had my mother in tears as she became lost and couldnt find her way back to our rooms. It was devastating to travel all that way again from AUSTRALIA via HAWAII and we did not get anything like we had been promised nor did we receive any "phenomenal service" The staff were very rude to us on arrival. I advised that we would be arriving quite late several times which they advised me would be fine and of coarse when we arrived they had given our rooms AWAY.It was horrifying but we were advised that is something that happens all the time. I like the location being so close to Caesers Palace and thought it would be nice and central for my parents to get around also so that is why I chose it the 2nd time as it does have the location going for it. I certainly hope that the phenomenal service you receive on your upcoming visit will convert any ill feelings you may currently have about Flamingo into rave reviews! My offer still stands to block your three rooms near each other and with fabulous views, but, once again, we will not be applying any discounts or complimentaries to said rooms.I look forward to hearing back from you so that we may get these rooms reserved and blocked for your next visit! Thanks for this opportunity to serve you once again." So as I was promised "phenomenal service" this time I took this to mean they would look after my family and booked again with the hotel. Finally I received an email advising "We do understand your concerns and I regret that you felt mistreated in any way. Just Get some new carpets and fix these minor broken things for each room.After a disappointing stay in 2005 I emailed Harrahs for help advising them that I would like to try and stay again and will be returning with my parents (both in their 70's) so I wanted to make sure that this stay would be a special one for my parents as it was their first visit to Las Vegas. Overall i think this place has gotten better from when i stayed there back in like 2011. Which is what i was told by the personnel who called me on my cell, that it would be ready. ![]() ![]() But when i went down to the Nook to pick up my room service around 12:15 pm the order hadnt even been started. Since the phone didn't work i placed a room service order through the app on my cell phone around 11:30 am, i was called from the Nook from my personal cell phone to tell me that my phone in the room wasnt working, which i knew already. They were stuffy if more than 3 people were in them. The elevators also have no air conditioning. you can see stains all up and down the hallways. The carpets in the hallways need to be steam cleaned. and brought the room temp down from 80 to about 70 degrees. So we left and came back, and after another 20 minutes it finally turned on. The AC was not able to turn on for about 35 minutes. I did call the front desk on my personal cell to let them know and was told they would come fix it, but nothing happenned. The dislikes were that our phone did not work. ![]() I liked the restaurant variety and the live animals and garden areas. The staff at the front desk were helpful. My likes are the location of the Flamingo.
